Scope of this project was to aid in the design, 3d model and provide general arrangement, installation, transport, lifting & manufacturing drawings.
The material being moved was Copper Oxide with feed rates of 250-500 TPH required from a Primary Crusher Hopper to a Secondary Cone Crusher.
The Belt feeder has pulley centres of 9m with a 1600mm wide belt, a full skirting system was employed along with primary and secondary belt cleaners.
Safety Pulley wire, Belt drift switches, Belt ripper detectors were designed into the equipment and the Tail Pulley used a manual screw type take-up.
A Metal detector was located prior to the Head discharge chute.
The Transition Chute has an outlet opening of 3x1m onto Belt feeder and is fully lined with bolt on 10mm Bisalloy 400 Wear plates.
The Isolation gate had an opening of 3×1.2m and 5î hydraulic cylinders were used to move the 50mm thick gate.
Full safety covers and guarding was completed on all equipment and was designed to meet AS3990 Mechanical Equipment & AS3774 Bulk loading on Containers.
